Ordinary People Form the Base of Every Successful Organization

Success of any business organization depends greatly on people who are working towards its development. Many investment companies and insurance firms that are well-placed today owe their success to agents who have worked ceaselessly to get investors for various schemes sold by these organizations. Developing long-term relationships with customers is the key for business continuity and growth. An agent understands this very well as they can only sell policies or products if they make a good impression on their prospective clients. This fact has also been endorsed by Sudhir Moravekar with reference to the success of his venture which was started more than a decade ago. Today, his company has achieved tremendous growth and also acquired many properties in India and abroad. But, when he had started his entrepreneurial journey in 1995, he relied on a well-conceptualized scheme and several agents who worked hard to make it a household name.

This scheme became a major success as people from lower-income groups could now afford to stay in luxurious hotels with it. Customers were delighted with this Pancard clubs scheme and the number of subscribers grew with every passing day. Under this scheme, people could invest in their future accommodations and plan some exciting vacations. All of these were offered at astonishingly lower costs for them. At the time when hotels were increasing rates of their suites, this proved to be a wonderful opportunity.
Tenure of investment varied from 3 years and 9 months to 10 years. After the success of this scheme, Mr. Moravekar acquired an IT company called IT Microsystems Pvt Ltd and turned it into a profitable enterprise.

It went on to become one of the leading providers of software solutions for various industrial applications. Software was developed for HR and Payroll, Hotel Management, Instrument Calibration Tracking and many other areas. The company came to be known as Panoramic Universal Limited later on, with key focus on real estate and hospitality. It is quite apparent from this success story that grassroots are mainly responsible for the growth of any organization. We just cannot ignore the efforts put in by agents which eventually led to Panoramic Universals success.

Agents actually spend much of their time in meeting people and helping them understand various aspects of the product or scheme which is being offered for sale. Panoramic Universal or PUL as it is fondly called was built on foundations laid by such agents to a great extent. It is clear that success of one thing led to another, and all these events served as a building block of Panoramic Group. Today it has become a listed entity with many hotels and resorts in its country of origin and foreign shores. Able leadership of Sudhir Moravekar would surely add many more accomplishments to this group. But, the fact remains that this would not have been made possible without continuous efforts of its employees. Ordinary people like agents, consultants and other members of the companies’ hierarchical structure have put in extraordinary efforts in turning an entrepreneurs vision into reality.Bottom of Form

Sudhir Moravekar's Journey across Obstacles on Entrepreneurship Goals

There are so many instances where in people carve out their growth with their persistence and grit. Sudhir Moravekar is one of them who with his hard work have created a niche for himself. He himself said that he used to sell tea on footpath for years in India. He managed hardly a one grand a month and it was very difficult to manage his family. The only reason he managed to build a multi-million empire is because he believed in hard work. He is not even embarrassed to mention his past. He had an ambition and a desire to succeed. He is modest when he says that his three principles took him to the position he is in. His three principles are hard work, intelligence and honesty and he still values the importance of these principles. Times have changed, from footpath to five star hotels, but principles are intact along with hunger to grow more. He is from that breed of entrepreneur who started off with only a dream.

Today his company Panoramic group, consisting of many divisions like Panoramic Universal Limited, Pancard clubs Limited and Panoramic Holidays, is one of the leading units in hospitality sectors. It is even said that he used to sell Paan (Beetle leaves) and he is not ashamed of this fact. He says then he had no financial resources to start a business so he had to take up such odd jobs so that he can provide a living for his family. Years later he and his friend decided to start off with a construction company and since it was a partnership business even he was supposed to contribute some funds.

Though he had saved few hundred rupees, it was not enough for the business. His wife, Mrs. Viidyaa Moravekar had her gold mortgaged to help him grow. Trust me when I say that Indian wife’s always sacrifice everything just to see their husband do well. The partners started with a good deal, they purchased a huge plot purchased a land in Lonavala. The idea was to send the plot to buyers in part and earn a good profit on it. They struck gold when they sold the complete plot part by part to NRIs. They had made a considerable profit on this deal. It was only then when he thought of seriously growing in to the same business. He sensed that there are lots of opportunities in real estate sectors and he was sure that his dream of achieving something big would be achieved if he uses his skills and temperament in this field. The rest as they say is history.

Today he will be glad that he took that decision to venture in to real estate business. His real estate business somewhat turned in hospitality and now his company manages hotels and resorts across India, United States of America, New Zealand and Thailand. He doesn’t seem to stop here as he has more plans which he would be implementing very soon. He made a great organization named proudly as Panoramic Universal Ltd.
